Teaching Philosphy

As I want to become a compassionate teacher, my teaching philosophy is grounded in the belief that every student has an equal chance to learn, grow, and find their voice through engagement and collaboration. I view a classroom where it is a collaborative space and curiosity is encouraged, critical thinking is developed and each students point of view in things are all valued. My role as a teacher is to not only help students understand the concept I am teaching, but also to be able to guide them through life as well.

I want to be able to create a classroom where all of my students feel comfortable to share their own voices. I want to help my students develop strong communication skills and to think critically.

I value patience, kindness, and creativity in the classroom. I believe that when a student feels safe and comfortable in the classroom, they are able to grow independently as learners. My goal is to be the kind of teacher who inspires young students to learn.
